Grape (Vitis Vinifera) face oil

Grape seed oil, scientifically known as Vitis Vinifera, is derived from the byproducts of winemaking and offers an array of skincare benefits due to its rich content of linoleic acid, an omega-6 fatty acid, and vitamin E, which provide moisturizing properties. Originating over 8,000 years ago in the Near Eastern region, it spread globally with the USA becoming a significant source. Its oil extraction only became prominent in the 20th century due to technological advances. Besides being a natural moisturiser, grape seed oil also balances the skin's oils leading to minimized pores and enhanced skin hydration. Additionally, with its potent anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial traits, it proves useful in treating acne. The high antioxidant content in the oil further aids in neutralizing harmful free radicals and slows skin aging.
